Membership in the New Albany Walking Club is open to women and men of all ages. We meet every Sunday morning at 7:30 inside the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany. Our walks will go through the scenic paths of the New Albany communities. Members will enjoy the camaraderie of others during walks.
Walking Club is now meeting each Sunday.

We will meet on the patio of The Heit Center at 7:30 am on Sunday mornings.
Wear a mask while waiting in the parking lot and during announcements.
Maintain a 6 foot distance while standing or walking (unless you are walking with someone in your household)
We will have small groups walk together and leave a few minutes apart to help in maintaining social distancing.
Remember to hydrate before coming to walk and while walking.
Bring your own water bottle. You can take it on your walk or leave it in your car for when you return. If you need to fill up your water bottle or use the restroom, you can go into the Heit Center. You must wear a mask to enter the Heit Center. Please understand that someone at the front desk will take your temperature as you come into the building.
Bring your own hand sanitizer.
When you return from your walk, you can choose to stand 6 foot apart on the patio and use the benches or chairs.
Please join us as we get back into our Sunday walks. If you are uncomfortable, please come back when you are ready. If you have any questions, please feel free to email firstname.lastname@example.org.

About Our Workouts
No athlete is too slow or too fast. No athlete will walk alone. We focus on walking only. This is not a running club. We walk every Sunday morning throughout the year meeting at the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany at 7:30 am. We meet indoors to gather for our workouts before heading out to walk on the beautiful New Albany trails and regroup at the Center for post workout activities including snacks, drinks and camaraderie in an amazingly beautiful and relaxing facility that lends itself to a supportive environment. Training walks are designed and distributed in our weekly e-newsletters.
About Our Perks

Seminars and workshops from our partners at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on topics ranging from heart health for women to stretching for injury prevention.
